How to Get to Every MLB All-Star Week Event Without a Car

Skip the Parking. Here's How to Actually Get Around During All-Star Week.

Five events. Three different venues, on opposite ends of the city. If you're trying to figure out how to get to all of it without losing a full day to parking and traffic, I've got you.

Getting to Citizens Bank Park (Home Run Derby, Futures Game, All-Star Game)

Get to City Hall and take the Broad Street Line — the Orange Line on the SEPTA map — all the way south to its last stop, NRG Station.

That's it. One line, no transfers, and on event days SEPTA runs express trains straight from Center City stops like City Hall, cutting the ride to about 20 minutes.

Round trip costs about $6.

Not close to City Hall - You can take SEPTA’s Market Frankford line to City Hall to catch the Broad Street Line or take PHLASH to Stop 4. (more on PHLASH below)

Getting to the Pennsylvania Convention Center (MLB Draft, Capital One All-Star Village)

Walk: If you're already staying anywhere near Center City — it's walkable from most downtown hotels, and it's a quick ride on the Broad Street Line or Market-Frankford Line if you're coming from further out.

Phlash: If you are in Old City or the Art Museum area, Phlash will be your best friend. With 19 convenient stops across all of Philly’s main attractions, you are always just a few steps away from a Phlash stop. The price is just $5/day. Get off at Stop 3 for the Convention Center or Stop 4 for City Hall. RidePhillyPHLASH.com

Getting to Independence Mall (All-Star Red Carpet Show, July 14)

This is where PHLASH comes back in. If you're staying near the Sports Complex or Center City and want to catch the Red Carpet Show before the game, PHLASH's purple loop connects the historic district straight through to Old City — no car, no parking search near Independence Hall, which gets tight on a day like this.

Independence Hall is Stop 1

Save this one — you'll want it again on the day.
